Top Colours Spring/Summer 2020

Last month I wrote about spring/summer 20 style trends and this months blog is given to looking ahead to the fab colour trends that await us over the coming months.  While some stylists focus on the design and cut of clothes when working with their clients I firmly believe both our style and colour choices are of equal importance when putting outfits together.  And I don’t know about you but there’s nothing like some exciting new shades of colour to help beat the winter blues.

So take a moment to get the low down on this coming seasons must have colours.

Flame Scarlet

Bold, bright, warm and energetic, this fiery red hue exudes confidence and unquestionably makes a however you may choose to wear it.

Ivory

In addition to bright white we will see a lot of ivory and softer light shades worn layered.  Let’s not forget all whites are instrumental in creating a classic look.  White teamed with a navy blazer for those who suit cooler shades.  For those best suited to shades with a warm undertone try teaming ivory with camel for a softer classic look.

Faded Denim

This blue shade conveys comfort and ease and will look  fab when paired with both pastels or bold, vibrant colours.  A great staple in your wardrobe this shade will suit many skin tones.

Tangerine

While this shade is best suited to those with a warm undertone it’s a wonderful shade that exudes warmth and makes you feel happy.  If your unsure about investing in this shade next to your face try introducing the shade through accessories.

Saffron

Yellow can often be spotted in the shops come spring time  — this seasons shade of yellow is a stronger more determined shade than we’ve seen in previous years and will be sure to add a bold touch to your outfit.  The runways showcased this optimistic shade worn head to toe but if that feels too much try it in a pattern or team it with your favourite jeans.

I would love to hear which colours of the new seasons shades you will be incorporating into your  wardrobe this spring.
